Any Ohio Hunters Out There.

Hey fellas,

Just bought a camp last week in east Rochester Ohio.

Looking for some hunting partners or anyone who wants to meet up at an old park etc.

I am up for field hunting if you have any to hunt. Creek hunting walking fields for arrowheads etc.

I'm into it all. Have 27 yrs experience. Have no problem sharing some tips and tricks or simply helping out any newbies.

Doing some research now of the area.

Let me know if interested in getting together for a hunt if you are close by.

50 Views and no hunters in the Columbiana co area.

Not looking to be taken to any honey holes etc. Just trying to see if anyone wants to meet up for a park hunt etc.

Hope to get out Sunday morning or even Monday morning. Let me know if anyone is up for a hunt.

Thanks for dropping me a line. I was planning on doing some hunting in the Canton area.

Saw a few parks that looked good to hunt. Are the parks in Canton open for detecting?

Not sure what type of hunting you do. But let me know if you'd like to meet up sometime.

I know Canton pretty well. I've never been bothered by police at all when detecting there.

Drop me a PM and let me know what you're thinking. Might be able to get out Monday weather permitting.

I will probably be coming to Ohio fairly shortly. I go to Flint Ridge to look for artifacts.

Flint ridge looks like a beautiful place to visit. I would imagine you have a good chance of finding some flint there.

Have you made any good finds in the park in the past.

It's not a park, it's a private residence. It's a couple miles from the park and hard as the dickens to find. I didn't go last year. Lady who owns it, Ms. Nethers, is in her 80's. They turn the place over with a dozer several times during the summer. I'll give you the address if you want it. It's in the middle of nowhere. She charges by the pound and has some artifacts there as well as raw flint for knapping, which I tried and miserably failed at.

Scouted one park Sunday.

3 hour hunt netted 7.00 bucks in clad two wheats 1889 indian and sterling ring with stone. Silver # 60 on the season.

Didn't like the ground conditions at this park though.

Got some more ideas and areas lined up. Let me know if anyone is up for a hunt.

There are artifacts all over the place in that area, ive spent years looking in that area.

Hello to all fellow Ohians . Ther are all kinds of areas in Montgomery County are. We have lots of history out this way. But it is also very busy area. Looking for private property to hunt is hit or miss. Lots of old parks and wooded area!
