πŸ† HONORABLE MENTION WWII Bombardiers Bracelet I dug in 2007 returned to veterans son

That is impressive on a few different levels. It's a pretty neat find, in itself. A cool find to have. But then the info inside gives you another search for another kind of treasure.
My father died when I was around five. I don't have much that was his. One item is an ID bracelet similar to the one you found. I don't wear it out, because I'm afraid the way the latch is, I might lose it.
But I do wear it every now and then at home. It makes me feel close to him.
I can imagine how his son must feel - It would be like getting a note, a gift, from his Father. You did a great thing. I know you don't need a "Well done" from us and that's not what you are looking for, but
I bet this whole deal goes farther in the spirit that you will ever know. HH in the future.

That is awesome that you tracked down his son!! Way to go

Such an amazing story! Thank you for thinking of our Vet's and doing what is right! You are an amazing portrayal of our MD passion!

I can appreciate that emblem as I have my Fathers from his bomb group. I know it will mean the world to his son coming back after all these years. The greatest generation always!
Honorable mention is a mere penitence for this deed.
Thank you sir!
