You may recall my post from Oct 2021 in which the teller mentioned that her boyfriend told her what half dollars to 'be on the lookout for' as she gave me a 1968S proof.

Today, same teller (still no Loomis boxes, btw), but I asked if she had any half dollars. She said she had 5 but, "they're pretty banged up".
They looked fine to me.
A Tale of One Teller
As I was picking up this week's (skunk) box of halves, I asked my teller if she had any more halves. She said she had none, but the next teller said she had one but that I probably didn't want it because her boyfriend told her which halves to be looking for and this was a (looking at the coin)...
