Is it normal that the red background doesn't stay after I turn the machine off? I want it to stay on when I turn it back on. I'm new to this machine. Thanks.

Sounds like it isn't possible to run the red screen. Thanks. There are usually options. One thing I notice more is that Minelab doesn't give us the user states to save anymore.
