US Navy officer's cap badge. May be WWII vintage. The eagle's legs on the current one are a bit longer.

While it’s not the β€œBudweiser” trident of the US Special Forces Seal Team/UDT, is still take it. I love it. My uncle has so many UDT shirts, and Frogmen with the Seal on it that I’ve always wanted one, but he always ends up giving them to my grandma(his sister). The stories that item you found could tell you if it could talk.
