History of Redmond/Sammamish

Being a resident of Sammamish as well as a MD enthusiast, I delved deep into the local folklore about the history of my town. I talked to some elderly folks who have lived here since before even my parents were born. I uncovered lots of stories, and found out about several old places- convenience stores, beach getaways, resorts, dance halls, and public gathering centers. I love this town, but unfortunately due to my busy schedule I am rarely ever able to get out and metal detect.

I grew up in Issaquah and did a lot of hunting around the parks in Issaquah/Sammamish around 2008-2010. Let me know if you ever get the itch to go out and want a partner. I live in Seattle now but still make it out that way occasionally.
