Beautiful ring. I had two almost like this one, one with snakes on the sides- and one more solid.
But your ring is in better condition then the ones i had.

Great find, hope you find more relics one this WW2 battlefield.

Whole area is a battlefield here.I can go where I want to,allways find ammunation, bombshells, uniform buttons or destroyed equipment. Some areas ("Halbe,Seelow....") are hardly forbidden for MDing. If you want to hunt there, you have to act like a 'Nighthawk' ;D
The punishment is very expensive and the cops would confiscate my MD. :'(
So I better MD on farmers fields now.The archaeologists don't like it,but I don't care. :icon_pirat:

SS-Division "Totenkopf"

Perhaps possible,but it's not a official one.
I know rings like these as 'sympathy-rings';shown in cataloques of the 1930th years.Different patterns of sculls,runes,wolf-heads and other symbols;made from silver, brass, tombak, bronce and sometimes iron or gold.
My ring is a very small sized,for a woman,a child or a man with 'pianoplayer-fingers'. ;D

No,sorry.I'm collector.
Some more of 'Fritz Proffen'. He had to leave SS in 1934,became an air-warden and WH soldier:
