Class of 1972 10K high school ring. Can't make out initials.

Got out for four hours yesterday at a park I used to hunt about 15 years ago. I'm starting to get back into this great hobby. I found this class of 1972 Middletown High School ring.
I'm having a hard time making out the initials. Can anyone make heads or tails of it? Thank you in advance and happy hunting.

This is flipped 180 degrees. Maybe J. H. ? There is one woman and one man with those initials from the class of 1972. I was thinking it's a men's ring, but fits my pinky super tight and I have medium to small hands.

That is the year I graduated as well. My class ring is in the safe; I never wore it after high school. I might just as well toss it in a park and let some lucky detectorist find it!
