The gold links do not seem solid. The back is silver, so what does 1/8th 10K gold mean?

If you look at the links they seem to have different colours, hence it looks like every second is 10K gold, and the next is .925 Silver.
1/8 10 K gold might mean that 1/8 of the weight is gold?

I agree 10K GF and 925 silver. . I think 1/8 10K may mean that its gold filled (1/8 the weight is gold). It appears to have been made in Turkey for the RCI Jewelry Company in Great Neck, N.Y.
