I guess it really depends on what a person digs.

Personally the iron can stay right where it is mainly.
Sure I'll slowly start weeding it out if the site justifies doing so.
Usually when I don't get a single non-ferrous target left to dig.

If I was to say that the iron patches will ever grow quiet-I'll never see that happening in the years I have left.

I feel that way often, and am often rewarded with that result! But still I sometimes step out the door, walk 50 meters to an old homesite on our land and do a little swinging. You never really know.....

Anybody else feel like they have been over the old homestead so many times that today will be the day you donā€™t hear a beep. Then you find just enough to make you think maybe thereā€™s more so you keep going back. That was today. Good luck everybody.
