Could this be an authentic old Indian Point?

I'm new here. Unfortunately I'm clueless when it comes to these type of items. I got this (and a few others) in a lot at an auction. I was mainly interested in a watch in the lot. Anyway I now have these and this one has kind of a nice color so thought I'd try to find out a little more about it. Any ideas?

The auction items were from Alabama but of course no idea if items are originally from out of that state. What does ā€˜field gradeā€™ mean? I appreciate the response!

looks like a heat treated point, donā€™t know Alabama types if thatā€™s where itā€™s from but safe guess would be a woodland point and looks like a fat one.
