War spoon

Can anyone tell me something about this spoon? It came from my grandmother's house in Paris. She was French - my grandfather was English (Edward Jones) and had served in the British forces in WWI. I never met my grandparents and I believe my father - who had a very interesting war - didn't stay in touch with his mother. My mother and my siblings never met her either and it is possible she was a collaborator. Would this spoon confirm that? Or is it a souvenir from the war? I'm not a great photographer - the handle is decorated with an eagle at the top followed by a long pattern, then an arrow, then two circles. I may be able to give a better description in daylight. The base has (from the handle end): Eagle; crossed arrows; swastika.

Thanks for that - wonder how my Grandparents got it! Is it of any value?

Go to ebay and look at sterling silver native american spoons ! Several listed should give you a general idea of what it's worth.

This is a souviner spoon, probably from 1890-1930. The Swastika is the Native American Indian symbol for good luck. It was discontinued with Hitler and WWII so this helps us date the spoon as pre-WWII. The souviner spoon craze started in approximately 1890.
