Snake ID Please

My rule is simple.

If it slithers............KILL IT!

I used to kill any snake on sight (I think it was a Judea Christian thing that rubbed off?). Then I saw Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter talking about snakes. I have not killed a snake since. A couple years ago I startled a Copperhead, it slithered right past me, and I just sat down letting it go on it's way.

I killed a little snake once that literally repeatedly struck at me. All the others get a free pass.
