I usually don't think finding Canadian nickels is anything worth writing about, but I thought this was an interesting find.

Got $50 in CWR nickels spread spread across a few banks yesterday. One of the banks where I got $20, about $10 of the rolls had Canadian nickels included.

2 George V (1929, 1936)
1 George VI (1940)
4 Elizabeth II (1963, 1986, 2000, 2013)

What I thought made this find interesting is that these coins represent every image of a monarch that Canada issued in nickels (post the silver 5c piece they used). George V, George VI, and the 4 images of Elizabeth II that they used (the UK used 5 images of Elizabeth, I believe).

I keep the George V and VI coins. The others go into my Canada jar that will get spent when I go up there at some point.

Also found a silver dime, a 1945S war nickel and a 1950P nickel (for some reason I keep those also).

Thanks for looking
