I bought two of these and used the first one on my 17" CTX coil. I cringed a little bit when I had to snap off the weak ear that was not broken but ... you need them both off. The construction of the coil with some ridges on one side and not the other required that I custom modify to make it completely level. This is actually doable with this material and it becomes better than the original when you use large ties. Now when I tighten the coil screw it gets snug rather than break the ear. I will use the other one on an SE Pro coil and save lots of money over the cost of a coil that could also break again.
