Fast Food? What's That?
My wife and I saw Supersize Me in theaters in July 2003 and that night, we swore off fast food for good.
As close as we'll go is pizza from our favorite pizzeria, Quizno's, Subway once in a while or while I was working in Coeur d'Alene, ID there was a local (fast food?) Mexican restaurant that was hella good.
Nowadays when we travel, we don't make a big deal about it for our kid's sake, we might stop by BK or McDonalds and get some chicken nuggets - something easy for a road trip and that they can eat themselves.
Of course after a stop like that, I die just a little bit on the inside and indulge in self-flagellation with 40 lashes once we're back home!
