I have found dozens of those little diecast metal cars. I found 13 in one spot at a softball field one day. I gave them to my grandkids to play with until they had so many they didn't want any more. Now I just toss them into the junque coffee can I keep handy. I wonder why so many are lost? I guess some day far in the future someone else will dig up the ones my grandkids lost and wonder the same thing? Monty
 

That third one on the right, Is a keeper,Looks like a Midgetoy, Rockford ILL from the 1940s, 50s!!
 

I found this out on Ebay that the racer is a midge toy. Not worth anything. But was made in the 40's. Pretty cool.

If you compare mine to the one in the pic you can see that they are the same. but his is in way better condition.
 

I love digging up little cars! I collect hot wheels with my kids , we have tons.
