Went to a church garage sale Saturday and found a large box packed full of hardback Zane Gray westerns. Flaggged down one of the young folks working the sale and asked what they would take for the box and she said $5.00. I paid as quickly as I could get to my wallet! Haven't unpacked them yet, but there are probably 50 or so in the box. (I won't go into all the stuff my wife bought at the auction we went to after this - the reason I haven't got the books sorted yet.)

50 of almost any hardcover books for $5.00 is a great bargain. You can always put them on e-bay starting at a $1.00, plus shipping and make a sweet profit

You probably already know this but.... Look through the pages for hidden cache's.
Plus, that is some mighty good reading material and shelf filler.

It would be nice if you found a first edition in there. If not, it's still a great deal. Zane Grey is one of my favorites and one of the all time great "Western" writers of all time as far as i'm concerned.
