I am too tall Wayne, doesn't work for me for getting up. I did add a sling to mine and throw it over my shoulder when hunting. FYI, it is a shotgun sling which doesn't require drilling anything into it, it just loops on. Works great... I would mention where I purchased it but I didn't know it was against the rules to mention stuff like that so just Google the sling.
