I don't even know where to start with this one. I found it today in a small civil war campsite area mixed in with coins, lead bullets, buttons etc. I've never seen anything like it and don't know where to start. It's got a concave shape to it. My buddy Wes took a look at it this morning in the field, and thought maybe it was some kind of scale piece. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks!
