You won't believe this.....

As the ground is froze and covered with snow, there is not much digging around here. I had not checked any half dollars rolls for a while, So I decided to order a box of $500.00 in halves. This is the best box I have ever found, out of the 50 rolls in the box I got 23... 90% silver half dollars and 17... 40% silver half dollars. That is 2 rolls of silver half dollars. I am still in shock, ......Yes I have orderd more but I don't think I'll ever mach this again..............Lee

Thought about doing this coin rolling thing but never have.

Here is some stupid questions I have:

Did you go to the bank and just tell them you wanted $500.00 in rolled half dollars? Did you ask particularly for the oldest ugliest rolls they got or just take what you get?

After you went through them and picked out the "good stuff" did you just roll them back up and take them back to the same bank? I would think they wouldn't like this too much?

The banks I deal with all have coin machines, so people do not take the coins to the teller, they put them in a machine it counts them and you get a receipt and you give it to the teller. I ask the person in charge of ordering and they will order them for me. I would think you need an account there for them to order the coins. Your bank may still have them at the tellers and you would just ask them if they have any.
