Just had breakfast with a friend & thought I would share a story I told him over bisquits & gravy ( as Homer Simpson would say ............. Mmmmmmmmmm......Gravy )
A couple of years ago, I was setting up at a Flea Market here in Mississippi to earn some extra cash. Among the things I carried for sale were new Metal Detectors I bought cheap off of ePay. ( usually, I sold them at $20.00 each over what I had paid for them )
We talked about some of the finds customers had actually showed me, when I remembered one of the most unusual things that EVER happened to me there at the Indoor Flea Market. I just HAD to share it with him, & now you.
A older gentleman walked up to my booth & asked to see the detectors I had left. As usual I would ask what he was going to be "hunting" for ( coins, relics, jewelry, ect ? ) He, in all seriousness, replied "Indian Arrowheads".
I darn near had another stroke holding back my laughter when it happened, but my breakfast buddie had to think about it a couple of minutes before he "got it"
Just another redneck moment, I guess.
