Idiots like this give responsible gun owners a very bad name. Purposely leaving a loaded weapon unattended on your front porch. What happens when a couple curious neighborhood kids decide to check out the interesting toy? Yes, they would be trespassing, yes it would technically be "their fault" since of course we all know its not the guns fault because it is an inanimate object.

And yes I do believe leaving a loaded shotgun on ones porch is a lot more inherently dangerous than leaving a hammer, golf club or bat on ones porch.

Lets hope this idiot was just writing a stupid illogical editorial and didnt actually do such an irresponsible thing. Just my 2 cents.

it sounds to me like its locked on his front porch inside if you read and understand, your 2 cents was appreciated I guess but I think your reading into the article a little to much. I am pretty sure it was a right jab at all the left wing idiots who think taking our guns away is going to solve crime. Clinton did it and crime rates and murders went up..
