You don't run into this often
Was on Ebay, seen something I didn't have a great interest in, but if I could get it cheap enough I'd buy it. The starting price was like a $1.50, and the value I'd put on it was anywhere from $10-$40, depending on the day and who wanted it. The problem was he did not ship to me, so I wrote the seller and didn't get an answer. I decided to bid anyway and waited until the last few seconds, and was blocked, but surprisingly it did not sell. It wasn't something I really cared about that much so just deleted it off my page and decided to move on. Then a few minutes later I checked my email and see he did write back and said he would ship to me. I then replied that I tried to bid but was blocked. His answer to that was he'd still sell it, just send the $1.50 and a few dollars to ship straight to his Paypal... so I did. You don't see things like this happen often, and to be honest I would have relisted it, and definitely would not sell it after the listing and have to pack it and ship it for the sake of only making a couple of dollars. But this guy did.
