You don't get finds like this every day!

As i was browsing the craigslist classified this morning I came across someone selling a 3 week old V3 for $900, saying he was desperate for the money. I negotiated him down to $750 (after checking the serial number with White's)! Last night I was saying I would consider the V3 late next year, and less than 24 hours later, she is mine!

wow I guess he really needed money bad, because $900 was already a steal! his biggest mistake was mentioning he needed money bad. That's like saying "I want $900 but will accept less because I am desperate"

Good job on that find I must have missed that add, I always check Craig's' List once a week because they don't have many sellers in the NJ area and I always get a listing for a store in Brooklyn.

Tell me if you have trouble with it false signalling. Mine did and I found out the D2 coil was the problem.

whoever it was is not too bright --if their jobs not stable or whatever then theres no way I'd spend 1600 to just have to then sell it for 3 weeks later for 750 -- ouch ouch ouch --you did give em a kiss first right?

Ironically, I was getting ready to send out my DFX for service when I stumbled across the ad. I dropped what I was doing, and the DFX is still in the box waiting to be shipped.

I am undecided what to do with the DFX when it is repaired. I would like to keep it, but I am leaning toward selling it.

Donate the DFX to me, as many know I am in desperate need for ANY metal detector and with NO funds you would get great karma as you already did with your latest buy, plus if I find anything worthy I will split HALF of it with you until its paid off!
