Congrats!!

Looks really good too. Will you keep it in as found condition?

HH Joe

Hi Joe, yes, i will probably leave the coin as it is (in "as found condition").

Congrats on a great find!
I sure envy you guys on the other side of the pond.

Wow, the detail on that old coin is amazing. :o I thought a silver coin that old would be well worn.

Congrats to you!!

Congrats on the find of a lifetime Folkert! It is in beautiful condition. What is the size of it, the Sceats I have seen are very small. I have heard many say this is one of the most sought after coins in Europe and the UK, the UK being under German/Saxony rule at the time. HH, Mike

Hi Mike, great to read from you again. The size of the coin is about 1/2 inch.

Nice 'Porcupine' Sceat. :o

As you say, a find of a lifetime - WELL DONE! 8)

Its No.2 on my wish list. Maybe one day I will post one

I will nominate for - BANNER

Congrat's Folkert....I would have thought I had some funny looking button,Nice Job!!!

That's awesome! In the U.S. anything we find that's over 100 years old is considered ancient! I can't imagine finding anythign dating back that far. Thanks for sharing!

That is a beauty! Congrats on the find of a lifetime and your inevitable spot on the BANNER!!!
