Went to visit my brother (ILSEEKER) to help him and his son hunt a "hunted out fairgrounds" that has been yielding quite a bit of silver.

My first find of the week was a 1902 Barber dime. Unfortunately my pinpointing was a tad off and I put a Lesche logo on the reverse. But it is still my first Barber coin:)

Will post pics of the rest of the finds after my camera battery recharges.

Congrats on the Barber. Sorry about the scratch. Been there, done that, too. HH

Nice find-- Those Barbers are a treat.

Might want to invest in a Sunray probe. I swear by mine. Sure I still scratch a coin now and again, but the probe makes recoveries FAST and definitely helps to keep you from damaging finds. People say the price is too high, but for me it's worth every penny.

Congrats on a nice find... silver is silver! I posted my Barber from today in another post.

Congratulations on joining the Barber club!

It feels good, doesn't it? :D

Congrats on your first Barber, waseeker!

Still looking for my first "Hair Cutter" :'(

Don't sweat the scratch.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice find, bud! Don't worry about the deck. I decked a nice 1875-S dime before....wellll, the ground was like rock. hahaha

waseeker,

Congratulations ! ! ! ( Don't do what I did a couple of months ago - - - - I was showing it off and left it on the coffee table, next day I went to put it away and it had disappeared!) Joe

Congrats on the Barber club. We've all scratched a coin or two in our day. At least it wasn't a key date coin. Good find. :)

Dang the scratch but she is still a beauty ! very big congrats on an excellent find ;)

My dad dorked a 1854 Seated Liberty Quarter AU condition yesterday, not nearly as bad as yours. I dorked a 1916D Walking Half XF condition a couple of years ago. It happens, just need to be a little careful. Congrats on your first
