Grettings from S.C. Yall seem like a good group of diverse people with alot of knowledge to boot. I've rummaged and pack ratted historical stuff my whole life but just recently started the metal detecting trip.. (kicking myself for not starting sooner).... Finding this site encouraged me to pull out and photo some old archived stuff and it will be a pleasure sharing some of it via internet with some of you.

My old job I did for the love of the resource but there was little or no hope of advancement and it didn't cover daycare costs, so I quit nln. I'm a stay at home pa now. Here's a recent picture me and my little twin and another shot from my other "emphatuation". My surf buddies can't believe it when I pass on waves to go metal detecting, but I'm doing it more and more.

Funny, I hunted a playground for grins the other day and every little kid there was enthraled with I was doing, except mine... who would take off in the other direction... I found a Rat Token right off the bat but had to put the detector away and pay attention.

Happy Hunting,
Chitlin

You could always combine two of your loves. Buy a water machine and detect the beach/surf/shallow water area. lots of our members "double up" on hobbies.
Welcome to TreasureNet(the best site on the web) and thanks for sharing those great pics.

Welcome :) Great pictures ! You are so right > daycare for twins can be extremely expensive !! It is an average here of $110.00 a week just for one child. Can't wait to see some of your treasures :)

Hiya Chitlin,

Great to see ya! Been enjoying your posts...you have found some nice relics, keep em coming. I just love blue eyed, blonde little ones...she's a cutie.
