Yesterday's silver

Thursday I stopped at 6 banks right around me, none had any halves (or at least none the tellers wanted to part with).

Late in the day I decided to make the run to the other end of town to a bank that has been very good to me. Tellers give all the rolled coin they can spare (I don't have an account with them so I really appreciate that) and have said many times that they will order me all the halves I want with no fees if I open an account. I already have too many though, may switch my primary to them soon though as the bank I've been with since I was 16 (25 now so I've been there awhile) has hit me up for box fees. I think I'll let the branch manager know exactly why too.

Anyway, on the finds.

$20.00 in handrolls were skunks. :P
$300.00 in fedrolls yielded:
4 40%'s
1 90% 1964-D
1 VERY impaired 1981-S proof
and 1 2005-D NIFC.
Glad I stopped in.

Good score. Yes it sounds like that bank has earned your business and I would look at opening and account with them. I wouldn't close the old one till your ordering halves and the relationship is looking good.
