Yesterday's Road Trip
I was coming back from out of state monday morning, started traveling at 4:50AM to get to work on time. Ended up missing a connection when they switched tracks last minute and didn't notify anyone out on the platform. So, no point in going into work 3 hours late might as well take the day off and get a road trip in!
Started off with a 1K withdrawl at my main bank in town. Teller had 1 1965 kennedy and gladly sold it to me, nice surprise! she said she only keeps the 90%. Drove to the next town and picked up a 2 box order to search while I drove out to the third bank, skunk on both. Bank 3, returned the 2 boxes, asked for halves and large dollar coins. they had a small handful of halves and 202 dollars in Eisenhowers! I was really hoping for some silver but none, still have to check them for errors. I'll probably make 50-100 bucks off that lot of craigslist. here's the rest of the summary:
Bank 4: nothing
Bank 5: $50 in CWR nickels and $50 in CWR dimes. still have yet to search (whoops forgot about em)
Bank 6: $30 in CWR halves. 1 40%! it was an ender too, had me going there. a few proofs and NIFCs in there too, definitely a collection of some sort I should check them for errors
Banks 7 - 9: a few loose halves, no more silver.
So total for 2 boxes and 9 banks was 2 40%ers, and $202 in Ikes. I'll take it! here's hoping I find some errors.
