Looks like a good hunt! Always good when you can spend time with your kid.

Its always up dead and dying or green and growing only time you see dirt is after a fire . No grazing live stock on the camps we hunt no cows or horses breaking points just heavy equipment ouch . Development is wiping out most of the camps around here .

Development sucks. If a person could get the excavating jobs on the right places it would be serious fun.
 

That’s a great site you have when you can find artifacts like that in gopher mounds ..... I check every gopher mound / ground hog diggings I come across but have yet to find anything in them. Really speaks to how loaded that site you hunt must be.
