Yesterday's finds.

We went hunting yesterday at one of our favorite places.We all found some great things.This is my finds....1 war nickel(44-D),4 wheaties(2 '44's,42 & 45) and 1 rusted down zinc penny plus modern coins.Also found part of an old grain scale.

Good finds, Masonjar. I had to look up what was so different about a war nickel. They were made from 56% copper, 35% silver, and 9% manganese. A regular nickel is made from 75% copper and 25% nickel. I learn something everyday by hanging out at this site.
