My wife and I met up with TnT yesterday and had a great time. We tried a new site that I thought was going to be good but it turned out to have so much garbage it was impossible to hunt. So we went to some fields that TnT got permission to hunt but we need to do it now because the farmer will be starting his planting next week. These are my wife's and my finds.
For My wife
1936 Buffalo
A watch that needs alot of repair

My finds were a Dodge Pick-up and
3 buttons
and a unknown item
The buttons are
1- Eagle button poor shape (Waterbury Button co.)
1-Flat button (Standard Colour - Treble Gilt)
1- Button no backmark and a little design on the front.
Thanks for looking
Ken and Linda

Nice outing. How's the back? Lifting a Dodge pickup can't be good for it! M ::) nty

That unkown kinda looks like a plume holder for a hat. Hard to find good close up images to show, but sure looks like one minus the little ball device that piece slipped into and attached to the hat.

Sorry I forgot the picture of the pick up. I believe you are right on the helmet Plume Gribnitz. I posted it in the "What Is It" and thats what PBK said also. Thanks

Man and the door's even open!!....Nice job on the buffalo but I like the helmet plume a little better.HH!!

Thanks Everyone for the nice comments. As for the "Hot Spot" Mirage, We are deffinately not finished there. TnT got permission from a farmer for some fields but he is going to be planting soon so we decided to hit the fields while we have the oppertunity, and we will go back to the other spot once we run out of time in the fields. Lionheart, The buffalo was only cleaned with soap and water. It's
un-usual to find Nickels in such good shape in this area but occasionally you get one like that, most are a brown color from the soil I guess. Thanks
Ken

Way to go you two. Nice patina on those items, and the nickel looks fantastic.
