Hunted a couple new spots yesterday that look promising. The first site was found with a little online research. I can only look at the edge of what was a documented village site but instantly found the knife (or maybe preform) and the two stones close together. I think they are the pecking stones. The village site years ago gave up over a thousand points and tools but that was years ago and nobody there now knows about it. Wish I could be on the actual site but I will have to settle for the edge. On the next site, I was at the edge of a nice local river. The landowner hasn't let many look before and I picked up 3 within an hour. There's a lot of heat-fractured rock there and soon to be plowed so hopefully more to show later. As for these points, the small one on the left has a little point coming off of the bottom I haven't seen before. There's no breaks on this point so I don't know if there was a specific reason it is there. If the one point is a tip, it was going to be a big piece, but it could just be part of a scraper.
