I had to soak it vinegar to see it,and I am glad that I did.So now I have a big chopper soaking as well.

Sorry yes it does.They have a thick layer of minerals them.The clean one looked like the chopper on one side,all covered up....Over nite in the vinegar,and boom....supr clean.
 

Love that chopper :hello2: What kind of mineral deposits are those? I've not seen anything like that before. Is it something that happen in your area alot?
