Yesterday's finds - Rhode Island Tercentenary anchor pin, Barber dime...

Finally took these from my pouch from yesterday- A anchor pin with the word, "Hope" (our state's motto) on the anchor and "Tercentenary 300th" on the badge. A 1914 Barber dime (the rim looks a little wider than it should?) and an "I dont know" it wiggles and almost spins but can't figure out what it's for. The last is copper and looks like it was bent in half but I dont know what that is either. Nice day though!

Nice recoveries Bev. Glad to see you nade it through the storm. There are others in your neck of the woods I'm waiting to see here.
Stay safe,
Bill

The coast didnt fare so well. They're still trying to clean and make sense of it all. Inland a lot of lost power but we were safe and sound.

Love the anchor...just got back from RI

I like the pins....and you know I like the silver! Nice finds!

The item that looks like a bullet could be one of those toys that looked like a bomb/rocket (had plastic or metal fins attached) and you would put a paper cap in between the metal pieces and throw it up in the air and have it come down on that metal part and set it off. Just a guess.

Nice finds Bev.
A barber is on my wish list.
Congrats on yours.

Joe

You'll get there, have you been going out?

Great job on the ID DocBeav:icon_thumleft:

Nice barber!

Bev...first off, glad to hear you weathered Sandy and are back out hunting.

Now...AWESOME finds! Love the Barber (on my bucket list) and the anchor pin is nice, too. I agree with Doc that the "bullet" thing is a cap bomb (I remember them growing up). :occasion14:

HH,
Anita
