Yesterday's adventures
I started out yesterday afternoon by selling my hoard of wheat cents. Not a half hour later I got a '47 wheat cent in my change from a cup of coffee. I'm already starting on my next hoard. I decided to hit up some banks for halves before picking up my box of nickels. At the second bank I stopped in, the teller had a silver quarter('64-D) in her tray. When I asked her about it she said that she had set it aside for someone like me. Yay! Well six banks later, all I had to show for it was that quarter and $30 in clad halves. Better than nothing and my first silver quarter in over a year. I got my box of nickels and went through it with better than expected results; an '86-S Proof, a '50, and a '44-P war nickel. I also found a penny on the ground. A pretty good day.
