My last Indian artifact hunt is tomorrow if I can get out of my own way. Corn is up 8" but I can walk between rows. No detecting up there this time. They allow digging, but its too hot.

Nice find, Is the base knapped in that manner or is the base snapped off? I cant tell

...I really like that muddy, rusty, patina. It really shows off all the scars ala natural.
My favorite work days are when I also find an artifact. Days can fly by because of it.
Does the water get diverted for row crop irrigation?

Edit ..... if only the twinkies were as fun to watch as women fast pitch.

I never realized until you started posting that MN had so many nice artifacts. I guess I'd never seen any MN collections before, or knew anyone from up there. Gary
