Yesterday I was the fly on the windshield; today I'm the windshield; gold & silver

Well, after yesterday's haul of sinkers, it was nice to see gold in my scoop.

I worked hard to get this one ; got to the beach at mid-low tide; scanned the beach and set up 3 theatres of operation :

#1) shoreline

#2) rocky area

#3) "muddy flats"

The first two yielded only clads, but oh, those muddy flats...gotta love 'em!

Found a medium sized trough and hunted in the water and around the perimeter.

It was in this area that I found the 14 K gold cross ( ankle deep water) and the silver coins ( perimeter mud.)
