Had two nice days out. Yesterday got 2 little bits of gold, just payed the fuel, but fun.
Today nothing but still great to get out.
All about the experience to me these days 👍
Yesterday.
Where I was.
Specimen Reef hill near me. Lovely place. You should be able to make out a half moon just to the left of the Gumtree above the clouds.

My fuel money. 😆

Today, near that place. Another reef working area. No finds other than some shotgun pellets and 22 slugs. But another lovely place.

Down on the left you see a slate wall. I spied a very small native Aussie Bee hive on the wall. The bees are stingless, they say the honey is super sweet but you'd be lucky to get a teaspoon of honey the hives are so small, so are the bees. Was great to spot it though.

Thankfully they are stingless as they were not happy with the close up and a few buzzed me 😀

Great pictures ..Also keep looking for that pot of gold in your region
A couple years ago I spoke to a person who used to work on the design and engineering of metal detectors.
In our conversations he said many years ago he left the company to search for gold in Australia.
He found enough gold he said to pay his house off and for his children’s college education

Great pictures
Interesting bees and I'm liking the no sting aspect of them.
Well done on the gold, sure looks pretty.
That poor old guy is upside down in the sky-I wonder why? :laughing7:

Almost sounds like a guy I knew who was a university teacher and did that who I knew well.
He started way before me though, gone now, funny guy was always great seeing each other. He eclipsed me! And his photos did this to me 😮

Im liking the no sting too. Right now im still recovering from another White Tail spider bite from a few weeks ago. If I found a Genie in a bottle the first wish I'd ask for? "Please, please make me immune to Ozzy insect bites!" 😆
For cryinig out loud im so done being bit, infections, pain and limping 😠
