A short wet metal detecting trip to the always producing soccer fields this morning yielded 12 Quarters, 10 dimes, 2 nickels, 11 pennies, (earliest date on all 1967), a red zipper pull, and an old brass locket/pendant.
Don't blame you to go back to a target rich environment. I bet it's convenient and safe. I had 2 spots like that. I pounded one by gridding it in 3 directions, good targets were about 3 coil swings apart during the 1st grid. Needless to say it's a sparce hunting ground now. The other is almost pounded out too. Clad pays the bills (upgrades, batteries, & other expenses). I enjoy a good clad filled site.
