Yes, that's a 3-lb steel sword on my head! New photo added.

I'm adding a new photo (I blurred my friend's faces) from our Arabian Nights fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy in June, 2008. When I'm not digging for fossils, I love to belly dance. I specialize in sword dancing on my head, hip, and on my tush. I also dance with fire. Hugs to all.

One time, my belly was on fire from bourbon, and I shimmy'd around the corner trying to sneak in the house, and my tush was in trouble... hence - no sword play that night. I was out on my head, and that was not very hip.
