I found these in a box recently. I bought these at a church basement sale. All mismatched silverware was priced at 10 cents each. I bought these 3 ladles. I was about 14. Even then I looked for old bottles, metal detected, etc. These looked like potential treasure. I have no Idea as to age or value. The back of the handles are as follows: left in photo “Rockford S P Co 5 ( then a 5-point star)”. Center item: “Community Plate” and right in photo “(Maltese Cross) W.R. (Pennsylvania style keystone design) A1”. So it’s pretty obvious who made all 3 ladles. They are decorative, useful and what can you get for a dime these days.😊

I completely agree that vintage and antique items are often much better value than modern equivalents, as well as more stylish. As I’m sure you already know, those are all silver plate.

The first one, from the Rockford Silver Plate Company, is their “Fairoaks” pattern, introduced in 1909.

For the second one, “Community Plate” was an Oneida trademark. It’s their “Georgian” pattern, introduced in 1912.

For the third one, "W.R. Keystone" was a William A. Rogers sub-brand. It’s their “Alden” pattern, introduced in 1931.
