Hey, at least your finding them!

Nice find :icon_thumleft:

lol, its been about a month or two sense i found a wheat! not a common find here, for me. did you find many when you lived down here?

Sweet finds, I like the wheaty and the key! Here in San Diego it seams like wheats are hard to come by so I get really excited when I get one.

Congrats on the wheatie!
They are harder to come by these days.
It's a pretty good indication there are some older things in the area... don't stop looking!
Good luck

Oh Sweet Coin...I like findin me some wheats

Do you ever get into Fort Myers to hunt?.. I would think you should be finding some oldies there. Right around the outskirts of downtown there are alot of homes built during the turn of the century

I actualy found it in Bonita Springs, dont know if you ever go there but it was at The Island Park by some old rail road tracks.. Ill do reserch and maybe the next no school day ill go up to see what i can find. I need to go back to the park because it has a lot of potential but there is so much trash >:(.

Yea i used to work in Bonita Springs...I dont know if i ever heard of that park, unless its off corkscrew..
I have been told on here many times and it makes since..you want to find something old..you gotta find some old soil..which usally has years of trash..but still worth it

14'ers you are on your way! Over 600 wheaties got in my way last year, in my quest for silver. This year, only 150 so far. If you want to dig 'em, I have found them here:

city sidewalks
city park outskirts
county park outskirts
ballfields in use from as late as 1960's-70's
church yards
older private yards

Good luck!
