Yay! It's finally cold enough to hunt!

Howdy, long time no see, folks. Well, it's finally cold enough here in Missouri that I can stand going out and hunting again. I'm glad to see many of the crusty veterans still here. Time to upgrade my detector, and I'm looking to spend around $300. I dig mostly silver coins, never any underwater stuff. Whaddaya suggest I buy? The Bounty Hunter Tracker IV has done me good, but I'm going to give it away to a young niece.

I wouldn't trade my ID excel for any other. Just my opinion. Good luck.

I've got a Prizm III that I paid $300 for and I love it. 8 target ID categories, depth indicator, and pinpoint mode and this thing is dead on accurate on coins!! Good luck finding your new machine, I know it's exciting getting that new detector....

I would say ,the ID Excel or the Cibola Both have great reviews. Glad you made it back.

White's Classic III is another good one for about that price. As long as you know your detector to the fullest you should be good no matter what you end up getting. HH

I myself have been looking at a Tesoro Cibola. Nothing but good reports
