found my very first silver tonight. it is a 1995 franklin mint collectors society charter member coin. It says on the back 14kt gold electroplated on sterling silver. it is a little bit bent and messed up but im ok with that im still super happy. 1472600857622.jpg1472600905192.jpg

thank you i have found a bunch of clad coins couple indian head pennys and a few wheats and a bunch of relics all in the same yard. but im also finding alot of junk. but i will keep going hopefully find some more good stuff. thanks for looking and commenting.

Matador, VERY cool find, that is a silver that we do not see very often at all here! Basically, post 1964 silver from mint sets, special editions, etc...Great save! Thx for sharing...ddf

I found my first silver dime in my yard too.
 

Congrats to you and your son. My son has a fond memory of finding a tax token at a very early age in our yard! Hope the memories keep coming for you 2:)

ya im not sure on how much it weights i will weight it tonigt when i get home and post it for you just to see how close you are like i said its bent and the gold plating is gone but i dont care im still happy
