Well went to one advertised "5 Family, HUGE Sale" and it was a complete bomb.

"HUGE" turned out to be 3 small tables of stuff, and 2 were baby clothes.:tongue3:

Saw a sign out on the way home for another though and scored some jewelry for $4.00

All sterling except for the locket (12k gold filled & sterling), lot also included a couple of watches that I should have passed on. Second day of the sale, probably only found these because they were all just about black with tarnish.:icon_silent:

Nice finds. Is the multi-strand (liquid silver) necklace marked with a rising sun and sterling mark? I'm asking because I have one that is.

I went to a "community sale" awhile back...

Turned out to be 1 lame house... with a ton of junk.

I asked... "did the community bring you all their junk to sell for them" ?

Yes, it is...on both side pieces, and a very small 925 on the hook on the clasp. First one I've come across in awhile, 20 strand.

I'm assuming the rising sun is a maker's mark, but haven't been able to find out the maker if it is.
