Yankee Camp Eagle , Seated, and Union Coppers

4-25 -10 Rainy day hunt. Went back to the Federal campsite ,where I found the 1847 Seated Dollar , last Sunday 4-18-10. This location will take awhile to grid. Black smith , work areas .. iron is everywhere , masking a lot of good stuff . Leaving some of the big ferrous stuff ,which may be some decent relics .The bugs are taking over ,damn bloodsuckin' things *%#@## .I am ready for them this week ..two cans . :laughing1:

Fired up from last week ,I hit it , Early ! Started out with a horse shoe . Nice omen , :icon_pirat:

Six hour hunt . ; Found: 1836 LC , 1826 LC , 1863 Union Cent . Close to each other at 5-7 inches . Silver !!! but what happened

this one looked like a little tiny speck verses the Seated dollar . I had to rub my eyes to get it focused . Still a beauty ::)

just a little beauty ...1853 silver Arrows , half dime , Copper eagle off of flag pole "found last week " 8) All of the items found today from the trooper camp . Hard to top the Silver $ hunt, but an exciting day . Union penny is a nice detailed coin and will need a bath . Two more mini 's , and a WJ &S button .. West Jersey Rail Road , a sling buckle , early clasp in pic . Navy anchor :icon_scratch:
