Can anyone tell me the minerals in these? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1531875742.268255.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1531875771.752668.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1531875800.836880.jpg

To my eye it looks like white quartz with mica and possibly little red garnets.

First 3 pictures looks like pegmatite which is made up of quartz, feldspar, mica and others, this may be garnets but could be rubies, there was a ruby mine there in Yancey in the past. Hayes mine on Sampson mountain. Were you anywhere near Bald Mtn. or Bee Log Elementary School, it's a rock school ? Got relatives who live there and would like to sample below where mine was.

It was actually in a creek in the small town of celo. I found all sorts of it. I was looking everywhere for aquamarine but found some amazing mica

I took some better pictures using a phone light. It's amazing how brilliant green it is. It's absolutely beautiful. And from what I know Hiddenite is extremely rare. Or so I've been told.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1532118278.476939.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1532118318.603624.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1532118377.868633.jpg
