Ya Just Never Know......

Ya just never know whats lurking beneath all that rust. My post from 11/30 where I found the buffalo nickle had a tray of relics I dug.



I kept looking at this one piece thinking it looked familiar and decided to put it in the electrolysis bucket. (top right of tray) Low and behold it's a bookend!
While at the dig site I was putting it into my bag and Terri's says...I dug a piece just like that. After I cleaned it up I called her and told her what it was and to find hers. Well she must have laid it down at the dig site and we can't find it again. So much for a matching set.
